The Stearman Restorers Association (SRA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and safe operation of Stearman aircraft, boasting over 1,500 members across 25 countries.
To enhance member engagement and streamline operations, the SRA undertook a comprehensive redesign of their website, integrating the Wild Apricot Membership platform. This platform offers robust membership management features, including a centralized member database, event management tools, and a website builder, all designed to simplify administrative tasks for organizations.
As the art director for this project, I leveraged the capabilities of the Wild Apricot platform to create a user-friendly and visually appealing website that aligns with the SRA's mission and branding. My responsibilities included designing intuitive navigation structures, selecting appropriate color schemes and typography, and ensuring that the website effectively showcases the association's resources and events. By integrating Wild Apricot's features, I aimed to enhance the overall user experience, facilitating easier access to information and fostering a stronger sense of community among members.
