The iEX Event is the largest annual gathering organized by the Veterans Health Administration's Innovation Ecosystem (VHA IE). Historically, each year's event featured a distinct visual identity, leading to confusion and inconsistent recognition among attendees. To address this, the creative team developed a cohesive and enduring branding strategy for iEX, establishing a consistent style guide that unified the event's visual presentation across all materials. This initiative resulted in enhanced recognition, increased trust, and a growing number of repeat attendees.
As the art director for this project, I played a pivotal role in crafting the unified visual identity for the iEX Event. Collaborating closely with designers and stakeholders, I ensured that the branding elements resonated with the event's mission and audience. My responsibilities included overseeing the development of the style guide, selecting appropriate color schemes, typography, and imagery that reflected the innovative spirit of VHA IE. By maintaining a consistent and engaging visual narrative, we successfully transformed iEX into a recognizable and trusted event within the veterans' healthcare community.
